Not that I can speak for my friend Nightfall but he usually is around here around 12:00 am or 1:00 am in the morning. This thread began around 5:00 am this morning. He's got to sleep sometime guys, but while he is let's have some fun... I too am a Greyhawker, it's my favorite setting and I know it the best, heck it's home. But SL is a new setting that hasn't been over done. It's fresh, it's got a complex history but the campaigns start shortly after a major event, not something that happened 1000 years ago. As one in my group playing an elf character asked "When did the Titan's War end? Only 150 years ago, my character is 175. I was alive then, I should know this." It's grim, gritty, dark, complex, good, evil... just the kind of place one can put a good sword or spell to use. The products are darn good (I haven't been disappointed yet) and coming out at a good pace, not too fast, not too slow, just riiiight. ;) It is a well supported world with city books, regional books (Calastia due to come out in a few weeks), gazetteers (one out and one on the way), and a good Hardcover Campaign Setting Book, a god book, two monster books and more. Yeah, S&SS is supporting a setting the way it should be done. Plus the newest product Serpent in the Fold has a dedication to Nightfall- Evangelist and Crusader-at-large for all his public support of the setting (also others that dwell here have a dedication to them as well: Eric Noah, Morrus, PC, and "all the rest of the Crew over at EN World"). Now that is just plain cool for those guys to do that!
