Well the benefits of selling your soul to them, they let me be a great PR- man! All hail the domain power of Entrancement! ;) Well you COULD add more gods. They just would be more of "regional" gods. Example, in Divine and Defeated, there's a listing for Osstell the Bone Maker. Now a few months ago, we had, on the S&SS board, a discussion of who to use as the creator of Rappen Athuk. THEN came this BRILLIANT idea. Osstel the Bone maker. Originally a GOOD god, he was corrupted by Chern and then went insane, building Rappen Athuk. Violia, a god that maybe had a small listing gets his ENTIRE history fleshed out by us. :) So really, messing with the gods, is alright. I just wouldn't CUT OUT too many. I mean if you kill off the Demi-gods and got a few new ones, fine. But I'd keep away from the Eight. Mainly BECAUSE I feel they are essential to the setting. But that's me. As for the novels, I wouldn't worry THAT much. True there's a possible ressurrection of a Dead God. But there's also the possibility that the god will STAY dead and other will take his place.
