Schism Questions

I have a few questions about the power Schism in the XPH. I gathered from posts that the second mind can't hold it's own focus, but what about:

• Can the second mind use a Power Stone or other magic item that you already have in your hand or otherwise touching?
• Can it use the surge from the Wilder? Will it become dazed?
• Can it use the Overchannel feat?

I know these would be restricted by the lower manifester level if even possible.
