Sci-Fi Channel

Well, with the recent threads talking about Sci-Fi having so many problems and not being right and all that...I thought I'd start a more positive thread. First I'll say that I'm extremely surprised to be doing this, and even though I watch Sci-Fi most of the time, I mostly treat it as background noise while surfing ENWorld. But this weekend is different.

Usually, it seems like the weekends on Sci-Fi are littered with horrible B-movies that aren't even funny to watch. Mostly a lot of pain, leading up to one of their even more horrible B-Movies on Saturday night. But this weekend they're actually doing things...Sci-Fi! Star Trek: Generations just ended, and though it isn't a great movie, its at least science fiction and its a hundred times better than those usual movies. Jurrasic Park is now on. I didn't even know Sci-Fi COULD air Jurrasic Park! Mission Impossible laster tonight...alright, not really Sci-Fi and not the best movie, but its a fairly big movie considering. And tommorrow, all three Indiana Jones movies.

Someone tell me...did the Sci-Fi executives finally realize that their stations is called Sci-Fi channel or something?! ;)

Sci-Fi is owned by USA Network, so anything they have the license to show they can show on Sci-Fi too.

I actually don't ever remember seeing Jurrassic Park on USA either...come to think of it, I haven't seen it on TV in a very long time. Felt good to see it again. Now I'm off to read the book again. :)
