To flesh out the concepts Tech Striker: Sniper) Start with just an accurate rifle, then add new gadgets that allow character to see through various sorts of obscuring battlefield conditions. Up the size of the rifle with level to something that does more damage> I can definitely see a high level steampunk sniper with a massive AMR in the vein of the NTW supported by anti-recoil braces strapped to the arms and torso. Clockwork heat-seeking bullets. Tech Defender: Mechanaut) Begin with a suit of powered plate armor constantly added to with increased levels. Throw in heavier appliqué armor, stronger servos that boost strength more. At tier changes their can be a basic chassis upgrade that allows the armor to reach alarger form. Until by high level they're piloting the stereotypical steampunk mecha, roughly gargantuan in size, and can go hand-to-hand with ancient dragons and the biggest giants. Options for built in weapons that allow them to act as a limited striker or controlller. Tech Leader: Industrialist) This one I'm kind of running short on, it's hard to think of usable in-game powers of umm "mass production?" Tech Controller: Mad-Scientist?) This is what would be a total riot. The stereotypical "spark" ala Girl Genius. Bombs, implements of SCIENTIFIC! doom. Plus say things that rip a hole in space and let unnatural things out to rampage through enemies. Automatons, alchemical devices, mind-control machines. I can just imagine modeling one of these on Doc Brown, with devices that allow him to pop through time over short durations. Forcing enemies to miss him and hit each other, slowing down time in an area, speeding it up for allies. Bringin bits of terrain in from different places and times and interposing them on the battlefield.
