Part of the reason for releasing it then might be to give DMs time to find it, purchase it, read it through a few times and mentally prepare themselves for running it (even going to the extent of grabbing minis for the monsters in some cases). Releasing it in October makes it much less likely that any campaigns will be stalled by the DM not having the next module ready.I'd much rather that than turn up to the weekly game for the DM to say "Ok, you made 11th level last week, which is good timing, because I picked up this adventure in the shop yesterday.
