Round 3 Partial Initiative Order Malkyr Tsul 21 Tabitha 21 Wilhelm 19 Alejandro (Ali) Arroyo 18 Manous Artouche 9 Vivienne 9 Lucien 8 Spiders 6 Malkyr holds his next shot for a moment gauging the struggles his companions are engaged in and choosing where he can do the most good. An opportunity will soon present itself. Gripping his Warhammer securely in his large hands, Manous smites at the big spider that seems intent on breaking its fangs against his Black Iron Plate Armor. The big arachnid isn’t done yet however and manages to evade the blow at the last instant. Malkyr takes his shot hitting the beast in some vital spot for the little bolt causes it to shudder and then topple at Manous’ feet. [sblock=Malkyr]You brought it below 10 and your special ability finished it off.[/sblock] Nearly lost in the forest of black, hairy spider legs that surround her, Tabitha somersaults into a forward spring, dodging between those chitinous extremities just in time to avoid the spider's sudden whirl to bite at her. Then Lucien moves as if to attack, forcing it to turn its back on Tabitha. In her haste she failed to notice the thin, almost invisible, strands of webbing stretched across her path. Somehow her lithe body slid beneath the strands without being entangled. Without missing a beat, Tabitha tucked and rolled right up to the pulsating spinnerets at the tip of the great spider's abdomen. Then with motions too quick to easily tell apart, she thrust her dagger up at its underside, pushing one of the plates of armor up and out just a little... Then she drove her rapier up and buried it deep inside the soft, goopy tissue underneath that armor! The spider’s insectoid eyes roll wildly in pain, but the creature is not down yet. The old man fires again, trying to keep the spiders down. His deft marksmanship wounds the spider facing Ali in a leg and sends it tumbling down bloodied. Its legs scrabble on the road as it prepares to rise again. OOC: Vivienne and Lucien are up!
