Sculpt Spell?

Can I use sculpt spell to change the area of a spell that usually only affects one person? I.E could I use it to cast a magic missile with a fireball-like area of effect?

No. It works on only Area spells. Magic missile has a Target, not an Area.

Definitely. Also, I think it may work only on some specific shapes of area, but that needs to be checked up. Doesn't it say exactly in the feat description?

Bursts, spreads and emanations IIRC (maybe not even emanations...)
