His father was never the same without her and saw his youngest son as the cause of the loss of his life mate. This attitude and subsequeant withdrawel from his son caused Aerick to depend on himself for all his needs. As he grew he became more withdrawn from the tribe with few friends to call his own and no family to support him. It was during his Rite to Manhood that he discovered his true self: As he was alone in the mountains close to starvation (his tribe believed only those worthy of survival and acceptance would be able to withstand 2 weeks alone with only ones wits and survival instincts should be allowed to be accepted as a full member of the tribe....possibly resulting in such a small clan), he was visited by his totem animal; the Grizzley Bear. This spiritual vision helped him with finding shelter and by taping into his spirit, to kill prey to get the needed food for survival. When he returned to his tribe he discovered another use for his spirit...that of the Berserk. This ability lead him to the forfront of fighting for his people against those who would take from them.</p><p> After several years of this lifestyle, Aerick was bored. He wanted to see more then his ancestrial lands and wondered what was beyond. Leaving his people behind he traveled down to the civilized lands and saw the great cities. These places still serve as a place of confusion, where people stay huddled in fear of their neihbors, and feel that symbols scratched down on paper is more important then a mans deeds and word. It seems only those who are termed "adventurers" understand that there is more to life then remaining behind walls waiting for death to take them, and for that reason Aerick proudly journies with them, using the spirit given to him by his Totem to the fullest.</p><p></p><p>Description: </p><p> Aerick stands a good 6'2", broad of shoulders wearing dark colored clothes with weapons always at hand. He always looks at civilized man with contempt and pity for their lack of understanding of how life should be lived. He is only comfortable with others who live life on the edge.
