Message: <blockquote data-quote="Buttercup" data-source="post: 359795" data-attributes="member: 990">I don't think this is correct.  There is no rating system for books, and if there were, it probably wouldn't be legally binding.  Just as the software and music ratings carry no weight.  Local governments can decide that, say, Playboy & Penthouse magazines have to be kept behind the counter, but not that many do.  Even so, we all have a choice here.  We can purchase the book, or not.  And if parents are that worried what their kids are picking up in the gaming shop, then they need to accompany said kids and help them make choices that are suitable.  Free will, eh?</blockquote>
