Seeker of Truth prestige class?

fatal error

First Post
I'm thinking of making a Seeker of Truth prestige class from the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. Any suggestions/ideas? I want this to be more of a roleplaying class than a combat class with something like this

Any Good
Sense Motive: 11 ranks
Diplomacy: 11 ranks
Bluff: 11 ranks
Intimidate: 11 ranks
BAB: ??
Feats: ??
Prerequites: Named by high level wizard

If theres anything I've left out or you've got different ideas or a completed one of your own please post.

Much appreciated.

I'd remove diplomacy. Richard was many things, but not diplomatic. I'd require skill focus sense motive and iron will as feats. I'd reduce the ranks to an even 10, and not worry about a BAB.

This is a hard thing to stat ou though. So, I'm just guessing here.

I understand your reasoning for saying to knock diplomacy off but Richard wasn't the only Seeker of Truth. So, I was thinking of it as more of a overall Seeker of Truth, not just a Richard Seeker of Truth class. Good ideas for the feat selection, thanks again.

Any ideas for the abilities of the class?
I was thinking along the lines of detect truth and what not.

For abilities, I suggest something like the "Hypercognition" ability from the Psionics Handbook. That seems to fall more in line with how a true Seeker worked as opposed to a simple truth detection.

And yes, ignore base attack bonus. My guess is that the wizards weren't looking at combat skill when they named the Seekers, counting on the Sword's magic to aid the Seeker.

Which brings up a point: will your class require the sword, and thus only one Seeker at a time? if not, then perhaps a unique rage ability could be granted, but with the same limits as the sword provided (can't kill someone you believe to be innocent, feel your victim's goodness, that sort of thing).

Great idea, btw. Keep working at it.
