Seeking 2 online D&D 3.5 players!

WELCOME TO THE CITY OF KNOTWOOD...
At www.PlayByWeb.com, click on D&D3e and then scroll down to "T" for "The City of Knotwood."
-----------------
I'm currently searching for at least two more players. This game will be using a variety of published adventures. It is very city-based and many of the adventures will be quite short.
Mind you, we will travel to uncharted lands every once in a while and scour some dungeons now and then!
I'm especially interested in getting a cleric in the mix and have provided special allowances for them (see below!).

GAME BACKGROUND: Knotwood was originally founded as a lumbering town, where its workers ventured into the Knotwood Forest to cut some of the finest wood in all of Olympia. The wood they produced, called Knotspine, is easily shaped with a chisel and as sturdy as the toughest hardwood. Because of that, Knotspine is sought by artisan from all over the world of Gaea. It is said that King Athan's crown and throne are made of gilded knotspine.
With the economic boom brought on by the logging industry, Knotwood grew quickly from a tiny hamlet into one of Olympia's biggest cities. With that affuelence (spelling!), crime grew at an equal speed.
Now Knotwood is under the strict control of Lord Drunn, who reacts quickly to any threat, often preferring to hire adventurers to solve problems, rather than squander the resources of his Sentries of Athena. The Sentries are often too busy with the three local thieves guilds and keeping order to be waylaid by strange rumors and phantom enemies.
The city itself sits on the East Coast of the Island Nation of Olympia. With its huge population, Knotwood has a bustling port. Still though, Poseidon often pounds the city with storms that can last a week or more.
To the west is the Knotwood Forest, which is heavily logged and mostly pacified. The deepest sections of Olympia, which lie just beyond the Knotwood Forest, are largely uncharted and a bit of a mystery because the nation of Olympia consists mostly of port cities, including the nation capitol of Cartossy.
The city of Knotwood is a strange and exciting place where adventurers can find more than their share of fame, fortune and glory.

Here are the rules for character generation:
SYSTEM: D&D 3.5 (Yes , I know it's under D&D3e)
FORMAT: Please use the downloadable sheet.
LEVEL: Right now, you start at level 2.
RACES: Only races listed in the Player's Handbook 3.5e.
CLASSES: Only classes listed in the Player's Handbook.
PRESTIGE CLASSES: Approved on a case-by-case basis.
HIT POINTS: Maximum at 1st level. Every other level roll random or 1/2 the HD, whichever is higher. For Example when you roll a 1d10 for your hit points at 2nd-level, you get a measely 4. So instead of 4 you get 1/2 1d10, which is 5.
ATTRIBUTES: Roll 4d6 and drop the lowest die. You roll SEVEN times and drop the lowest total.
FEATS: Player's Handbook Feats get automatic OK. Feats from other sources approved on a case-by-case basis.
SPELLS: Player's Handbook spells only.
MONEY: You start out with 2,650 gp. Magic items, except potions, must be OK'd by the DM. The coins of Olympia always have holes in them, so that they may be tied together on a cord and worn as a necklace, hung on a hook or counted on a dowel rod.
GOD: You must select a god from Olympian Pantheon (I list these in a post). If you are playing a Cleric you cannot have "no god." As a bonus to clerics, you get a +1 to hit bonus at 2nd, 7th, 12th and 17th with your favored weapon.
HALF-ORCS: This race doesn't get shafted in my campaign. See listing on the web site!

QUOTE Zjelani --- I'd be willing to give it a try depending on how frequent it is. Just let me know!
QUOTE Remus Lupin --- How often do you intend to play?
Play is by post and we are trying to have players post at least 5 times a week in character. This isn't a chat-based game, but a message-board based game. Visit PlayByWeb.com for more information.

Sorry about sticking this in the wrong forum!

How does play by post work? For a round of combat do you have to wait for every player to make a post? That would make combats take weeks (or more).
