Greetings! Within the last year both of the DMs I play under have shifted their D&D campaigns to excruciatingly slow character advancement and/or lower-level player groups. I happen to be more interested in meaningful higher-level gaming at the moment. I'd like to meet a new game group in the San Diego area that offers some or all of the following:

Mature gaming. By mature I don't mean roleplaying sex acts or focusing on "adult" themes. I mean that I am looking for a group with an adult level of maturity. I am 30 years old and a group in a similar age range would appeal.
Solid roleplaying. I mean really getting into character, perhaps talking in voices other than your own, focusing on the game's story and not breaking character to talk about sports or the reality show de jour.
A higher-level campaign. Ideally the campaign would be previously ongoing around 7th level and up, and would have a good pace of advancement (at least one level every three to six sessions).
3.5 D&D ruleset. I'd play in an interesting 3E campaign, but I consider 3E to be inferior to 3.5. Other rule systems are potentially acceptable, and even genres other than heroic fantasy. I like Shadowrun, World of Darkness, Earthdawn and d20 Modern in addition to 3.5. I'm not a fan of GURPS, Palladium, d20 Star Wars, or previous editions of D&D.
Non-Monty Haul. If your campaign consists of a full group of 15th-level PC hound archon Paladins, or everyone is dripping with absurdly powerful magic items for their level...no thanks.
Including myself, no more than eight players and a DM, and no fewer than three players and a DM. I don't enjoy extremely large or small groups.
I am an easy-going guy and I can get along with just about anyone as long as they are polite and have good hygiene.
