Seeking Gamers in Atlanta

CodexofRome

First Post
Looking to start a gaming group. It's been a while, but I've been itching to GM again. I'm interested in running a regular campaign, with occasional excursions into other genres/games (I'm also looking for people interested in wargames as well).

I've been prepping several campaign ideas, as detailed below. I'm not sold on any one in specific, and am willing to go with whatever the group feels strongly about.

1) The Midnight setting. Desperate heros fighting an unbeatable enemy. Very dangerous, dark setting.

2) City State of the Invincible Overlord. D&D 3.5 in an old school setting.

3) d20 Modern... X-Files atmosphere, minimal FX.

4) Post-Apcolyptic game with a serious Fallout feel. D20 Modern using Darwin's World and Gamma World books.

5) Old West game, using the Sidewinder rules.

Games would be weekly at my home near downtown Atlanta, probably Saturday afternoons, or a weekday evening after 8pm. I need a core of regular players to get started, but will be willing to consider semi-regulars outside of that.

If you're interested, contact me at mwbay (at) comcast.net!

Hey-
I just registered with En World today and happened to see your message. I might be interested in a City State campaign. I live in Marietta and work in Midtown. Assuming you do start a campaign in CSIO, playing every Saturday would probably present a problem for me. A week-night would probably be better. I've lived in Atlanta for almost 10 years and haven't played an RPG for longer than that. Like you, I've suddenly developed an itch to play or DM again. When I saw that Judges Guild was up and running again I purchased the Player's Guide to the Wilderlands and all the 3.5 rulebooks. Currently participating in a PBEM campaign set in the Wilderlands. Please let me know what, if anything, develops.
