Seeking info on Weis's "Dragonvarld"

Wanna tell me what's so good about M.Weis's series in the world of Dragonvarld? Or please point me to a good resource?

Sounds like just another tired ol' fantasy setting to me. Dragons, magic, boring. ... There's gotta be something more to it, though, right?

I thought it interesting that his is going to be a Fast Forward product, and not a Soveriegn Press Product.

you may want to check it out from the library. The first book is really scattered, and not her best work. I tried to like, i really did, but it just wasnt sitting well with me. Seemed hella rushed.
