I took one recently and scored in the mid 140's. As I was taking the test I laughed at the fact that ten years ago I probably would have gotten almost every question right. I just have had no use for a lot of the applications required to answer many of the questions in the last 10 yrs, so I guess my brain hid that knowledge away with all of my childhood memories. So, I have to agree with Infiniti2000 on the age thing. The quality of ones' education greatly affects ones' "IQ". There are plenty of kids whose futures are determned every year by such tests and I find it pathetic. There are plenty of "intelligent" people that because their parents couldn't afford to send them to the best schools wouldn't score well on such a test.Not to mention IQ tests do nothing to measure things like emotional stability and common sense. God knows I have met a lot of extremely intelligent people with zero common sense. What about physical intelligence, conversational intelligence, social intelligence, and survival intelligence. None of this is taken into account in such tests.
