I’m Scott. I’ve GMed a few systems and run a couple of year-long homebrew campaigns in 5e 2014 (Tal’Dorei and Eberron). Have mostly run online, with some in person. Played a heap more. I’m hoping to build a regular group of 4-5 players. We’ll do a series of one-shots in various systems (Shadowdark, Mork Borg, 5e, etc.) so we can get to know our play-styles and if we gel as a group – plus whether you enjoy my GM approach! The first session will be a Shadowdark One Shot – Trial of the Slime Lord run as a Gauntlet using level 0 pregens. Second session will be Shadowdark as well, before likely shifting to something else (voted by the group). Eventually I’m keen to commence a longer campaign, probably using the 5e 2024 ruleset. However, if we find we love another system then I’m open to running that instead! I’ve a few ideas bubbling away, from Storm King’s Thunder through to some homebrewed adventures. Game Time Thursdays 6:30 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time. Aiming to start 23rd Jan, fortnightly sessions. Game Style I lean to story driven games with a focus on the character’s engagement in the story. While I have a general narrative arc in my head of where things will go, I tend to plan session to session in response to character actions and motivations. I enjoy a mix of roleplay, exploration and combat – some sessions I’ve run have been entirely roleplay, others focused on combat, generally led by what the group prefers to engage with. Way We Play Discord and Owlbear Rodeo. Preference for webcam/video as I’ve found it makes online interaction more effective, but all good if you’re not comfortable or don’t have the set up. If you’re keen, please let me know a little about yourself as a player, what you’re looking for, interests in gaming, etc.
