Selling all DnD stuff on ebay

You have $40,000 worth of stuff that you have an opening bid of $5 on? Dude, what happened?

You should proabably post a list of your stuff and make it clear if you are selling it item by item or all as one package.

Not to mention the fact that you're contractually obligated to sell to the highest bidder, whether that be $5 or $5,000. People also tend to shy away from reserve bids.

You really need to post a list of all items since you have absolutely no description in your auction listing. Just saying you have all this stuff without itemizing it is a bit dubious. I'm not suggesting you don't have a large collection, but selling something sight unseen and using an ambiguous listing won't get you too far.

From what I understand, you can pull the listing from Ebay right now. The reserve isn't met, and I don't believe there is a legal oblicgation preventing you from doind that, getting the offer down now!

If you want to realize anywhere near the value of what you have, you most likely need to break up the collection into small groups and individual items, take jpgs of each, and then list them separately.

My wife help a private online auction of a much smaller lot of mixed A/D&D agming materials and various other RPG associated items that a friend of ours wanted to dispose of. It brought in a hefty sum. What I see happening with your offering does not bode well for a fair deal for yo.

At worst you could perhaps sell off the lot at the GenCon auction.

$40,000!?!

Is this even possible? Say that the average price of each book and/or module is $20. That comes out to 2000 items!!! Did TSR even produce that many D&D products in its history? I find that hard to believe.

$20 average maybe. BUT there's a lot of things worth more $20.

If he has any of the RPGA mods, that's hundreds.
If he has the OD&D books in good condition, that's hundreds.
If he has the mono Tsojcanth, that's thousands.
