Hello all;

I plan on moving to San Francisco to attend the California Culinary Academy. As it is, I have too many books, so I have decided to sell my excess D&D 3.0 and 3.5 books on eBay. The prices are good (1/3 of the MSRP). This is the first wave of auctions, so please, if you are looking for some books that are well taken care of, please give my auctions a lookover and consider buying.

I have to admit one of the five "career paths" I listed when I started out on my own 22 years ago was becoming a Chef and restaurant owner, and eventually a chain. I chose "Science" because it gave me the verstility to shoot for 3 of my 5 job preferences. O worked in two of them and have been working in qa totally unrelated field for about 6 years now.

Now that my wife is unable to work, that career is being set to the side as well. If I hadn't become as disabled as I am, I would be looking into the restaurant business again.

I think there is a huge "target market" being over looked in todays restaurant world. There are good "chain restaurants" for the middle class in mid sized towns, but there are hardly any excellent food restaurants priced and aimed at the middle class, in any size city or town.

There are cheap ways to serve excellent quality food with excellent taste for middle class pricing.

Anyways, that is the market I would shoot for if I was able to give it a try.

So good luck to you.

Tal,

Ship me your S&SS Scarred Lands stuff and i'll make sure those Franscioians give you free room and board.

Otherwise I'll make sure they can't commute! ;)
