Selling Lfr found magic items

So, how does it work? Can you sell magic items found during a lfr campaign? Is so, at 20% or 100%?

Not sure about "lfr" but in our campaign, our DM says if we put our hands on it, it has to go for the used rate (20%)...

He says its like the value of a new car once you drive it off the lot (depreciation)... :)

As per the LFR CCG, found magic items are sold at 20% like most things. Ritual books are sold at a higher rate and items affected by rules updates are subject to a new policy.

I think the more important thing about the 20% is realised when you look at the way prices scale. An item is 5 times more expensive than an item 5 levels lower (i.e., same item, lower teir) and 1/5 the price of an item 5 levels higher(i.e. same item, higher teir).

When you sell at 20%, it means "ok, thats not the item you wanted, but you can effectively swap it at a shop for a different item, but it will be +1 lower".

Have a look at the price charts and do the math. Its not a series of numbers plucked out of the air, nor is it a draconic act. Its a well thought out series of numbers.
