But please do post; I'm drawing alot of inspiration from your SH. My group just completed a heavily modified Book 1. They wound up doing the mines first. They didn't have the keys, but managed to bluff their way into the orc lair for a big fight. That was followed by some add-libbed underdark adventures unrelated to Book 2, then back up to the surface to fight Ramor and the death dogs, and finally the fight with Shilek in Broken Spire.  I'm looking forward to starting the underdark portion in earnest. I'll probably cut out 75% of the trolls and replace it with a variety of other more unusual encounters.  -RedShirt</blockquote>
