The games at conventions run by the designers, freelancers, and voiunteers have all been a lot of fun, and draw people into the setting quickly.The game has had its critics, which I feel has been a good thing. A second printing got rid of a number of frustrations from some of those critics (they added an index, and a character sheet, for example) and the attention brought to it has encouraged discussion.The same successful RPG engine is being used in the new Battlestar Galactica RPG, with a number of flavor tweaks (since the 'Verse isn't the same as the Galactica and the Colonies).
