However, he is the director, the look of the project is also within his scope of responsibilities.Whatever the case may be ...however it was handled, whether Joss was hands off or hands on....he is the director and has power over the art direction. Should he feel it isn't a certain quality, he can always say so and steer the team back to his vison. So , whatever happened during production, doesn't matter , the end result speaks for itself.  Whether Joss had let the art team perform wihout his input or with lots of his input, in the end Joss still has the stamp of approval. Well, do be fair, the producers probably have their say too a bit, I'm sure.Anyways, I don't normally like the visuals on a Joss project. But I do like the writing. And who knows what a new Serenity film may look like if it instead had a 100million budget rather that the reported 40 for the first one. Could be it still looks cheap becuase of Joss's leadership and tastes or....could be that you finally see his true vision of what he has in mind.....and that its actually pretty cool, just needed more money to do it right.</blockquote>
