So celebrated was his birth that his parents named him after the legendary dragon of myth. Little Shen lived in the lap of luxury and ate of the fruit of comfort. In time, however, the youth became bored with his protective family and decided to join in with the Syndicate's more dangerous activities. He considered his older brother Chin and sister Sin too soft and weak to undergo the rigorous training and treacherous jobs it entailed. He did well under service, sniffing out insurgents for the organization as well as dealing with the occasional encrypted message. He also had some experience in old-fashioned poison making as well as the invention of a few small mechanical devices. His world came crashing down when anarchy and mutiny rocked the Syndicate. Loyalties were shucked aside and betrayals only revealed one's true marks. The entire deal became all too much like writhing maggots upon a rotting corpse. Eventually, "Raven", called so by his long black hair and pale skin, found himself out of the loop and without a leader. Disgusted with the chaos within what he thought was The Organization, he left.And he's been pursued since."Raven" is a well-built man of Chinese descent, though he is slightly on the short and light side. His usual attire is a worn out and faded black business suit. This is usually underneath a simple long coat. His skin is pale despite his health probably due to the chemicals he works so often with.Often times, the laconic "Raven" comes across as cold, especially when he is distracted. His smile comes at will, though not always with the expected emotion. Anyone knowing "Raven" long enough realizes that he is more sullen than passionless, a sundered soul, slowly being pieced together.He is sometimes given to small talk, refusing to delve into his or anyone else's life without given trust or comfort. At these times, his long (somewhat effeminate) hair tends to be brushed away from his face, on occasion. Taunts of being mistaken as a girl are taken with shining eyes and an amused grin. It happens too often despite his own build.  His life being mostly in the violence and treachery of the underworld, the only thing he enjoys more than playing with poisons, and his martial arts,  is playing with his guitar. He has no real talent for music, but he has worked long and hard to achieve a sort of proficiency with the instrument. When he plays, the melodies are either soft and melancholic or striking and heart-wrenching.
