Setting Junkies - How do you get your fix these days?

I've never been a huge fan (or detractor, just indifferent) but I couldn't resist the Sixth World Almanac, which I picked up on Ebay for $15 including shipping.
Nice find. I picked it up for full price at GenCon. The map alone is probably worth $15.

This is where Paizo is getting my money. I like seeing how the setting is unfolding and will be curious to see where future adventure paths take us.

I've turned to Wikipedia and oddball historical shows on History & History International Channels. History and mythology are still great resources and sometimes you run across oddball/obscure things that can prove useful.

Is 4E really light on new settings?

Light on settings? No. Light on new creative and original settings? Hell yes.

As an unrepentant setting junky, the last couple of years have definitely seemed leaner than at almost any other time. Thankfully, games like Savage World and Pathfinder have brought us a slew of quality worlds to enjoy. I'm also having a blast with Artesia and some other indie games.
