Setting Shacked City AP in Eberron

I am going to start running the Shackled City AP in the Eberron campaign setting and I was hoping for some feedback on adapting the adventure for Eberron. Most of it seems relatively easy, as the campaign was designed to be pretty generic. However, there are a few pointed questions.

1) Where do you place the city of Cauldron? It's a pretty big city. I was thinking somewhere on the outskirts of the Demon Wastes on Khorvaire's northern shore. Or perhaps it might work if it was in the Lhazaar Principalities. Another option I have thought about is to alter the details of Cauldron and turn it into Stormreach. Any other thoughts?

2) Since the Shackled City AP is a generic D&D setting it doesn't include psionics or any of the unique Eberron races. Any thoughts on integrating them into the campaign aside from just altering an NPC here or there to make him or her into a shifter, warforged, psion etc.?

No comments yet, eh? Well I have been ruminating on the subject and here are a few details I have come up with so far.

The four main temples in the city of Cauldron would be converted thusly:
St. Cuthbert > Silver Flame
Kord > Sovereign Host (with an emphasis on Dol Dorn)
Pelor > Sovereign Host (with an emphasis on Olladra)
Wee Jas > Blood of Vol

The Ebon Triad would consist of cultists of the three different sinister religions converted thusly:
Hextor > Blood of Vol
Vecna > The Shadow
Erythnul > Cult of the Dragon Below

As for the placement of the city of Cauldron, I came up with the idea that perhaps Cauldron exists in Xen'drik, not necessarily taking the place of Stormreach. Stormreach would take the place of the city of Sasserine, which isn't a locale specifically detailed in the SCAP, but is offered as an option for players wanting to visit a bigger city with more resources to purchase more powerful items. Of course, Sasserine is a little bit larger than Stormreach according to the Dungeon Magazine backdrop, but it could work. I also like the idea of setting Cauldron in Xen'drik because it makes the world around the PCs a more mysterious place, which seems to fit the setting of the SCAP better.

I have been thinking about the references to Carceri as well. I am thinking the closest analogue to this in Eberron is Xoriat. Surely a bunch of cultists wanting to bring Xoriat coterminous with Eberron again could be a great backstory for an epic Eberron campaign! It might also work if it was Dal Quor, though. There is no mention of demodands and how they fit into Eberron's cosmology in the Eberron Campaign Setting though. Does anyone know of any reference to where they might reside in Eberron? I could just change the demodands to Daelkyr I suppose although that might be a little more work.
