Greetings! Penguinking wrote: "the "sex is only for procreation any form of sex and/or sexual position other than straight missionary-style intercourse is prohibited and the female orgasm is a myth" stance that seems to occupy a prominent place in the minds of many Judeochristian clery-types is pretty difficult to work into a "fulfilling and enjoyable sex life", after all." ____________________________________________________ End Quote. Well, the Song of Solomon, a canon book within the Holy Bible would certainly dispel any validity to those attitudes. In addition, nowhere in the Scriptures does it say any of those things. Those attitudes are merely cultural adaptations that have been embraced by various elements within Christianity. That being true, however, doesn't mean that those attitudes are any more correct, or scriptually supported than the attitudes that some Christians have that divorce, abortion, and adultery is acceptable. There are Christians that believe these things, and even passionately seek to justify them, but that doesn't make them right. Those Christians that choose to embrace such dysfunctional attitudes about sex are not being obedient to the depth, passion, and fullness of life that God would have his creatures live. The fact is, there are many Christians that are very passionate, sexually creative, and entirely devoted to their spouses and maintaining a strong, Christian marriage. Being sexually creative, and passionate is not incompatible with Christian faith, or doctrine. Just thought I'd make use of some of my study of Theology!:) Semper Fidelis, SHARK
