ooc; woot! nicely done gents! Redclaw, can you cast the scroll defensively? Seeing Lorth's semi-concealed form disappear into the fog and hearing the aberrant brute's cries, the Wizard knows the hour of victory or defeat is at hand. Grim determination in his almond eyes, Genithar drops his crossbow and dashes forward into the swirling mist upon silent feet, smoothly pulling his heavy Karrnathi longsword from it's battered scabbard. A pair of struggling figures rear up to his left, Lorth mixing a more rigid martial art with the wild claws of his ancestry while the Brute attempts to crush the monk by strength of arm alone. Quietly, the elf continues past them, breaking out of the fog with a slight puff and dashes to the far wall, spinning as he puts his back to it. Rapidly taking in the layout of the battle field, and the now surrounded aberrants, in the blink of an eye, Genithar's nasaly voice rolls over the chamber as he begins a complex incantation. Long deft fingers of his left hand flashing in esoteric movements the Wizard's spell reaches a crescendo as he shouts triumphantly, 'At'daskuna Monoxim!' and a light blue disk of energy forms in front of him before becoming insubstantial. Finally, mystically armed and armored for battle, the sword wielding Wizard calls at the fog, 'Lorth! Disarm Him of his sword!' ooc; drop crossbow as free action, move 20' forward and pulling sword as part of movement, casting shield, finally. word.
