D&D 5E (2024) Shackled City 5E?

So found a awesome store today. They had a shelf of older material from 3.5 and Pathfinder 1E. Kingmaker $60 USD complete and a copy of Shackled City for $40. Shackled city came home with me.

Thinking of running it for 5E. Has anyone tried it or played it originally in 3E or Pathfinder?
Never ran it and assumed it's the weakest of the 3 3E APs Paizo did. Still seems better flipping through it than typical 5E hardcover.

I ran it.
It is for 6 PCs and a bit challenging in D&D 3. Some memorable moments from the middle parts (the baboons at the inn, the wands dungeon, the dinner with multiple villains, the eruption...). Some parts however are rather uninspiring (the first adventure is a dungeon slog, and the final part/villain is dull imo).
I think the DM should rework the weakest parts.
All in all i rate it 7/10
Paizo was experimenting with this one.

I agree 7 out of 10. Some cool twists. However it is sooooooo Dungeon Heavy. If you like dungeon crawls then it is solid.

I think if you strip out the hundreds of pointless filler encounters and reduce the number of empty rooms then there is an awesome core inside there.

I loooove Cauldron as a location and am likely using it as the home base in my next Forgotten Realms campaign.

EDIT: Meant to type "campaign" and not "location".
