lol yeah, I was noticing the 'pregen' characters are real Christmas Trees that way. Yeah, no, you don't need all those. It's a terrible waste of money. Bring the Grenade Launcher, the Assault Rifle and a Heavy Pistol. And the katana, I guess, though if someone needs to be killed in melee, we have a troll for that. :) The GL is for clearing crowds and breaching barriers. The AR is for suppression and bursts on armored targets, and the pistol is a backup weapon in case the shitake hits the fan and it's all you've got. The katana is because Shadowrun and of COURSE katana. Trenchcoat is also mandatory. Sniper rifle is too situational. They're AMAZING when you have someone who can set one up off the map and just plink guys from an elevated location. They're nigh-useless when you're in close quarters. Shotguns are either useless against armor, or not much better than a high caliber pistol. LMGs can be intense, but their Recoil is crazy high. You have to have good gear and (ideally) a stabilized mount if you want to hit more than the walls. SMGs are good in the hands of a bullet wizard adept who can dual-wield, but otherwise an assault rifle outshines them in every way. So yeah. Grenade launcher, assault rifle, heavy pistol (ares predator or browning if they gave you one) and katana. All the dakka anyone ever needs. :)
