Hey everyone new here and had a question, I was thinking about playing a rogue for an upcoming game and was leaning towards a shadow creature template but other people told me a little about a race called Shadowswyft and was wondering what they were. Thanks for any help..

You can find them in the Planar Handbook.

Cool thanks, but my only problem is I cannot find a Planar Handbook anywhere in my town, and we are going to be making characters this weekend and I cannot find the book, Ive called all the local game stores and book stores around. Any idea what their stats are or what their special abilities are? All I know about them is (the picture I saw of one and that they are a one level adj).

I don't have my Planar Handbook in front of me at the moment, and I'm not sure I could legally give you everything you'd need to make one. The Planar Handbook isn't OGC. Maybe wizards has a web enhancement that contains their stats? Give their website a search for shadowswyfts.

If you have access to FR's Underdark book, there's a shadow-themed PC race in it called gloaming. They're like tieflings (native outsiders), & are small-size with dark moth wings, IIRC. +1 LA.
