(Shannara) How far is it from Shady Vale to Culhaven?

Aye, that is the question.
I'm attempting to define distances in the Four Lands, the core setting for the Shannara books of Terry Brooks.

My calculations put the distance from Shady Vale to Culhaven, by a straight line drawn through the air, at 173 miles.

Is this correct?
Is this wrong?
I and the Shannara folk are discussing this over in the Shannara Forum, but I am curious as to what those here who are Shannara fans think.

I am going to attempt to measure other distances.
Shady Vale to Arborlon is the other crucial distance I am going to try to ascertain.

Once you have the base measurements for landmark places like these, you can put everything else in perspective relative to them.

Anyone care to try their hand at distances in Shannara?

(Yeah, I know, a lot of you don't like Shannara, or think Shannara is ... well, you know what I'm talking about. But nevermind that. I'm trying to ascertain distances in the setting, not philosophise over how good or bad Shannara is ...)

Heh. The people of ENWorld are bright, creative, attentive, and they are argumentative, extremely opinionated, and very vocal in their thoughts.

Can anyone make me some educated guesses on distances in the Four Lands of the Shannara setting?

From my The World of Shannara page 73, Shady Vale is day's walk from Leah. The map does NOT have a scale but if I messure and carry that forward I show Culhaven is another two days away. So three or four days IF good roads but there is the Rainbow Lake and the Silver River, which may shorten the travel time, from the book travel past Leah is difficult due to bog and the Black Oak Forest.

There was a Dragon out last year that had some info I will see if that had a scaled map, none of the books do!
