The rain backs off a little as the group prepares to journey towards Forngladden in the mid afternoon. The sun is trying to peek out from the drifting clouds. Erelden looks with a trace of worry towards the east, in the direction of his homeland. 'Do not worry about payment, my friends, it is certainly worth the price for the aid of such stalwart people. I do not know why Forngladden has attracted the notice of fell creatures, perhaps the magi there hold some eldritch artifact, or maybe the town is in the line of conquest. I do know that whatever walks among the orcs and trolls is no mundane Foe; there is a taint of foul sorcery in this grave matter. We must be vigilant, for I fear scouts of this dark power will be rooting about.' The party travels for some time, speaking grimly of what the source of this evil may be, as night encroaches slowly, a small hamlet, Dwyre, comes into view, a smattering of rustic houses, surrounded by well tended farmland. Erelden turns in his saddle towards his companions. 'Dwyre seems to be a safe refuge and waypoint. I will pay for our night's rest in the inn, the Boar and Bear. The second floor has a common room which we may use to relax and speak freely. After Dwyre we will be in the Wild for two days before we come to Forngladden. In the Boar and Bear's respite I will speak more of what I feel may be behind this horror.'
