Message: <blockquote data-quote="Nightchilde-2" data-source="post: 4659006" data-attributes="member: 4109">Yay!  I got referenced!!One of my other bits of awesome was the first time we used a skill challenge in 4e.  The players rolled to see if they succeeded, and took that into account with their roleplaying.  It was particularly awesome when the dragonborn fighter ended up slamming an NPC against the wall by the throat after a successful intimidate check.Hm.  I dunno, maybe you had to be there.  <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin    :D"  data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" />There was one 3.5 Eberron session we had where the PCs were facing off against an atropal scion, who took to the air to get out of reach of the party.  Now, the party wasn't real big on ranged attacks, and the wizard hadn't managed to prepare anything to allow people to fly that day, so the monk and warforged fighter managed to get up to the rafters of the room they were fighting in and hung there, one-handed, fighting the atropal scion while the rest of the party tangled with the zombies the scion had animated.  The killing blow came when the warforged fighter described a "charge" attack as "I let go of the rafters and use the momentum from my fall to aid my attack."</blockquote>
