Pathfinder 1E Sharktopus: Scourge of Golarion!

The only one above that would make sense based on the adaptation from the movie to D20 would be: Ominous Aura. The converting to an aberration or Magical beast would bump up it's BAB and allow more feats with INT.

The problem one has in taking this critter from a science fiction type universe to one of fantasy is tossing in the random element of Magic and dealing with the intricacies that this causes.

Obviously Sharktopus is far from perfect and if a few reasonable tweaks can be done then it'll be one step better to being a viable critter. One of the creation criteria was that Sharktopus could go into an area unseen and destroy enemy craft and personel and quickly escape. In that vein then some of it's abilities are going to require stealth instead of brute force. Sure it can rip a vessel in two, that's what it does. If this thing has the drop on PCs then it's fair game, if the PCs are hunting it then yes there will be a good disadvantage.

Tarrasque on water? Not so much. One step up from a Kraken? Yes definitely.

Kraken and sea, Tarrasque and land. Hence my analogy.

The reason for proposed abilities is that Sharktopussy is such a mind boggling terror that one is likely to collapse, or die even from sheer fright.
It's also so bloody stubborn, and so difficult to kill, that mundane spells often go wild near it.

Now, if you remember Jaws, there is this unforgettable moment of a menace approaching to two bold heroes. The menace is offscreen, unseen, but the tension is there - this is what Ominous Aura is about.

Finally, the bleeding effect... well, it's a simple way to deal with those pesky greater invisibility / superior stealth guys. This is an epic monstrosity, with epicness causing one's blood to flow out of every orifice.

Still, this is just my take on such a legendary beast. And, let's face it, if a single lucky Hold Monster is enough to kill it, then all it takes is a single flying, invisible wizard with a wand.

Worse even... Charm Monster...

Nah, a thought too terrifying to consider.

Ruemere
