The Secret Origin of Eldon Splinthollow As the campaign unfolds, this will be updated with specific information regarding the secret origin of Eldon Splinthollow: For Eldon Splinthollow: [SBLOCK] Milo Splinthollow was an employee of House Jorasco who ventured on their behalf into the more dangerous areas of the world. 13 yearsd ago, one of his expeditions brought him to the coast of Lake Grey, and the sight of an old battlefield between Breland and Thrane. Milo encountered a demon while trying to save an injured person. Milo was not powerful enough to overtake the demon, but managed to strike a bargain with the beast in exchange for his survival. The demon, a brown-skinned female-looking creature with six arms and a serpent-like tail, said she would allow him to heal the injured person and leave untouched, but the demon would take the soul of his first-born instead. Milo never planned to marry or have children, so it seemed like a good deal. Then he met Jillian. Jillian gives birth to Eldon. Milo keeps pact with the demon secret and thinks all is okay, because Eldon appears normal. When Eldon gets older, he exhibits demon-touched powers (warlock). Milo secretly works with members of House Jorasco to try to heal Eldon, but all attempts fail. Milo confesses to Eldon of pact. Between Eldon's reaction and the political/social embarrassment that House Jorasco can't heal someone, Eldon leaves. Eldon's longtime friend, the warforged known as Coal, joins him as his bodyguard. [/SBLOCK] For Coal: [SBLOCK] While Eldon might believe that you are travelling as his bodyguard/master on your own accord, you are actually travelling with him under the orders of his father, Milo. Milo warns you that a brown-skinned female-looking demon with six arms and a serpent-like tail might be hunting for him and that Coal is to protect him at all costs. [/SBLOCK]
