Shatterworld: Original Campaign Setting

First Post
Hi folks,

Tried posting this earlier. Sorry if it double posts.

I've created a blog for my own campaign world, Shatterworld, for non-commercial use.

Shatterworld

The setting involves the ruins of a crumbled empire, with a mostly human, low level magic environment. I think it would be ideal for an E6 campaign.

The blog is intended for player knowledge. DMs who are interested in running in the world can email me for DMs eyes only info, and refer their players to the blog. I intend to continue to update it regularly.

Hi Niccodaemus.

The map is great, and all of your place names are extremely evocative!

I'm off to work, but I've bookmarked this thread to read when I have the chance.

Kudos!

Thanks guys.

I wanted to create something that got away from the feel of the direction fantasy gaming has gone, and feel more like something you might have read in an old storybook from the early 1900s. Stories that incorporate magic and wonder, but don't have magic shops in every town like Starbucks.

Island surrounding Calabria have much high concentrations of non-humans, with Dwarven Citadels, Living Forests, and Orc kingdoms, but there would be no need to ever adventure off of Calabria unless a DM wanted things to go that direction.

Calabria is the kind of place where any obvious public use of a spell would send most people running away in terror.

I've done quite a bit with the blog in the past few days:

I've been diligently updating my blog on Calabria. If nothing else, check it out for the kick ass artwork, mostly created before 1900.

I've got a local DM planning on starting a campaign there in a few weeks.

If you like any of the artwork on the blog, google that artist's name, and you'll find lots more like it.

really? wow, they look alot like you used profantasy cc3. I used to use photoshop and though you can get them to look exactly right and not generic, it just takes to long... but its funny, i was thinking you must have mastered cc3 better than i had lol. perhaps i should pull my finger out and go back to PS.
