Message: <blockquote data-quote="Hand of Vecna" data-source="post: 597188" data-attributes="member: 755">On the WotC Site you can find Templates for Skeleton and Zombie.  Monte Cook's website has a Ghoul and Ghast Template.  In last October's issue of Dragon, there was the Mummy, Wight, and Wraith Template.  Combined with the Ghost, Lich, and Vampire Templates found in the MM, that's over half the undead in that book, which technically is the majority <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" /> At any rate, my question still stands -- can a Shifter use their GWS ability to become a templated creature, like a Fire Element Creature Housefly or a Vampire version of yourself (remembering that you only gain the Extraordinary abilities, not Supernatural or Spell-Like ones, so all a GWS Vampire would gain is Blood Drain, Fast Heal 5, Resistances, and Spider Climb -- no Energy Drain, Children of the Night, Create Spawn, Damage Reduction, or Gaseous Form; Weaknesses might or might not be gained)?And since a Shifter can use GWS to become Constructs, does that mean he can become Animated Objects, and thus become any object he's familiar with (assuming it falls into his size and HD range)?  I'm guessing right off the bat that nothing containing metal would be allowed (since it is primarily a Druid PrC, and Druids are prohibited from using metal arms & armor), so no Iron Golems or suits of Plate Mail or iron rods...</blockquote>
