WEll my players are making me ask... Do Shifter PrCs get the supernatural abilities of the forms they take?
The epic level feat "Dragon Form", from the Epic level book Syas you gain both Extraordinary and Supernatural abilities ( thus the Flame breath of a Red Dragon).
Well shifters gain Dragon Form at 7th level. Does this mean the Shifter gains Supernatural Abilities of Dragons at this point? or only upon buying the Epic Feat??
The PHB says Druids can use all three types of abilities ( Extra, Super, and Spelllike) of the elemental they can turn into.
So does this extend to any other shape they assume?

Hee

You're making it much more complicated than it needs to be.

Shifters have a class ability called Greater Wildshape. It's fully described under the Shifter PrC in Masters of the Wild.

The ability to Greater Wildshape into a dragon has nothing at all to do with the Epic Feat Wildshape: Dragon. Nothing. Nada.

They are two totally different abilities.

To summarize though:

Greater Wildshape allows the Shifter all the Exceptional (Ex) abilities of the form chosen, but NOT spell-like or supernatural abilities.

This includes elementals! Greater Wildshape is ALSO not the same as the druidic class ability to wildshape into an elemental. The ONLY exception to that is if the Shifter has enough Druid levels to wildshape into an elemental. Note too that for any other creature Druids can turn into, they don't get spell-like or supernatural abilities. Only elementals. This is clearly stated in the Wildshape description.

Remember, it never pays to assume that one ability has the same rules as another ability that seems superficially similar. Read the description for the ability in question.

I'll take a wild guess that you're asking if I'm Brazilian. The answer, sadly, is no. :(

Sorry!

Why, does 'shayuri' mean something in Portugese?
