Shiva 3000 - excellent book. I really, really like the sci-fi/fantasy combo presented within, nd am going to steal all sorts of ideas from it
Just wondering if anyone knows anything more about the 'goonda's' in the boo. Are they human or some sort of humanoid race, because they're never fully explained - described as impossibly thin, willowy, and when he hits one on the head he hits a bit made out of wood. I know their extra-arm prosthesis is a mechanical device, and it fits a human, so they must be fairly human-shaped, but what about the rest of them?
They're just incredibly cool
so I was wondering if there's any basis in Indian myth for them or if the author invented the entire conecpt himself.
