So what's on everyone's list of items to buy?

Treasure Quests by Fast Forward sounds interesting, but I have mixed feelings about some of their past products.

Beyond All Reason, Queen of Lies, Counter Collection II, Of Sound Mind... I'm way behind in my modules. Main reason is I'm not in an active campaign so I have more use for sourcebooks as reading and reference material than modules, but I hope to get back into the grove soon.

Twin Crowns and Broadside. I've heard good things about both of 'em.

Quintessential Rogue, Ships of Elves/War (and where is Constructs, Battle Magic, and Crusades eh). Once again, source material. Strangely enough, I found Quint Fighter a better guide to war in RPGs than AEG's own book. It had specific details like how much to pay people to fight for you. Imagine that. (Sorry, personal rant...)

Nothing from Monkey God... lack of need for modules... I have a few of the older ones and feel that their pretty good.

Is anyone buying these spell decks from Paradigm? I'll skip on 'em but I am interesting in Forged in Magic and Carnival of Swords

From Privateer, I'd like to see the IK setting, as well as the miniature line. Hope it's metal not plastic! The monster book looks pretty good too.

From Eden, they have a few books I hope come out but I'm not holding my fingers. I'm sure that Buffy is taking up major brain power.

Anyone read Burok Torn? Friend says it's pretty good, but I don't know how far I need to delve into a setting I'm not GMing or playing in.

In terms of Troll Lord, am I the only one who thought Erde was just okay and not great? I'm looking forward to the Canting Crew and picking up Gaxmoor though.

From some reviews, it seems that Monsters is better than War from AEG but I'll look it over first... Hopefully it'll have great quality like their L5R books (speaking of which, where is Way of the Samurai?)

Atlas has that Seven Cities coming out. Seven Citadels was great!

I'm hoping that Chaosium will do a d20 version of Corum, or put some web notes up to convert the BRP to d20.

With Dragon Star, it's another setting I'm just looking at going, Cool, but ? I'm much more interesting in Spells & Spellcraft and Traps & Treachery II.

Kenzer & Co has a few books that look great. The Stones of Peace and the Players guide both look to be more dents in my wallet.

Ah well, it's late and I'm ranting. Not good combos, but that's a lot of damn product. I'll have to get a third job if this keeps up.

Don't tell me you forgot about BLUFFSIDE?!! ;)

Seriously as far as Burok Torn goes, while I DON'T have it (money issues as usual), I do think from what I've both read myself and heard, it's a GREAT sourcebook, especially if you're looking for new ways into introduce Dark Elves...and I think also it will work well in conjuction with Queen of Lies. Course there will be some GOODLY queaking on that though. But I think you'll enjoy the Dark Elf section as well as what the dwarves have to say about themselves too.

Then print copies of all the other splatbooks to replace my pdfs.

By the time I've done that, probably ELH and MM2.

I haven't really looked at any non-WotC products yet. Initially, my intent was to completely ignore them, but at some point I realised that was just plain stupid, so I might grab something if it looks good.

I've never bought anything specific to a campaign setting for any game except CoC, and I don't buy adventures (I own two OD&D modules I was given). I just can't defend the expenditure on something I could just as easily do myself, and which requires a lot of personal work to integrate.

All in all, I guess my list is pretty boring.

Here's mine in I thing the order their coming out in.......
  • Quintesstial Rouge
  • Forbidden Kingdoms from OtherWorld Creations
  • Sidewinder from Citizen Games
  • Monster Manuel 2
  • Traps and Treachery 2

Ahh, a topic near and dear -- albeit somewhat painful -- to my heart. Since my wife and I decided its time to get serious about paying off student loans and buying our house and all that stuff, I'm going to have to make really tough choices this year. Here's the stuff I'm looking at trying to squeeze out of my truncated gaming budget:
  • Armies of the Abyss -- cheap and most likely wonderful!
  • Sovereign Stone and SS Magic Book $30 each! :(
  • Dieties and Demigods -- I always loved this book in older editions
  • Iron Kingdoms Monster book -- I love monster books! :)
  • Monster Manual II -- See above!
  • Eden Studios Monster Book
  • Tooth and Claw
  • Call of Cthulhu d20
  • Dragonstar Galaxy Guide
  • Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Game -- I have to at least have this on my shelf
  • d20 Modern -- I'll probably put this off until next year though.
