The cold is not significant enough to be alarming at the distance above, but it gives knowledge that it could be quite harmful to fall in. Coldtree and Astarte can both mystically produce a light breeze that helps move the mist around and temporarily improves visibility. Each breeze swirls and follows the party, lasting for several minutes.</p><p></p><p>Again there is a change in vegetation as would naturally accompany a change in altitude. The incline also becomes steeper so that walking becomes more laborious. The party doubts that it has traveled very far, due to the slowness of movement, when Kite gets everyone’s attention. He indicates that he smells something like a wet dog. With the aid of the originator directing the manufactured breeze, he is able to point the exact direction of the scent and say that it is getting stronger.
