Descending the stairs down, which are about five strides in vertical distance, everything is completely dark. Terrendale, who can see in the dark, quietly conveys that there are no warm blooded creatures beyond, nor any geothermic warm spots. Reaching out his hand and feeling his way to an opening, he manipulates waylines to cause a spot on the wall to glow with illumination. Only a circle on the wall about a stride in diameter can be affected. Astarte hears nothing other than the almost silent breath of the party, and Kite smells nothing other than the crisp cold air and chalky dust.</p><p></p><p>Like above, this entire floor loos to have been carved from the mountain. It is cold enough on this level that the party members manipulate thermal waylines to cause spots along the floor to be warmed. It helps, slightly increasing the ambient temperature. The floor looks to have been used as a kitchen and supply storage. The containers remain but any contents that once contained water have long since desiccated. Even things that look to have once been seeds have dried to crumbled particles of grit. No food items are useful, but there are some vessels of oil. The oil has not changed over time. All utensils and stations are cleaned and organized like they would have been during a period of occupancy when no work was being done.
