I've gotten used to always being able to go to a publisher's website, click over to some discussion forum, and start ranting about what I liked or didn't like...
So this past weekend I bought the Way of the Witch from Citizen Games, got home, tracked down their website (there was no link listed on the book that I've found so far), and went over to see what kind of fan discussion might be present...
And found nothing. No forum, no email list.
Now I've got all this stuff in me that I want to babble, and nowhere to babble it.
So... most of the publishers seem to have some place for people to talk about their product. How do people feel about this.
Should a publisher always have such?
Does it help to have it, even when it gets traffic from people who are unsatisfied?
Can it be a hinderance?
PS: I really liked the Way of the Witch book, and recommend it to those looking for a book on Witches for D&D. There are a few strange elements, but overall it's a solid product.
