You know, if you read the news wires, they sometimes carry stories about house cats attacking people... This is perhaps my favorite... "Elderly Man Licking Wounds After Cat Attack QUEBEC CITY (Reuters) - An elderly Canadian man was said to be recovering on Thursday following a savage attack by his pet cat, which drew four carloads of police, two ambulances and an animal control officer. The National Post newspaper said Gerard Daigle, 80, lost a pint of blood and required stitches after his cat Touti, a diminutive roughly meaning Tiny, launched a frenzied attack after Daigle, who was apparently giving his pet parrot a shower, inadvertently sprayed the cat with water. ... It is not known why Daigle was giving his parrot a shower. " (Okay, it was an old guy, but the cat actually also attacked his wife as well). Here's another one "Monday, May 13, 2002 Cat goes on rampage in Nova Scotia, evicts owners DARTMOUTH, Nova Scotia, May 13 (Reuters) - A Canadian family had to flee for safety after their pet Siamese cat went on a rampage, tearing at clothes and skin and driving them out of the house, police said on Monday. ... Another police officer said Cocoa was "a Siamese cat with an attitude problem." (I've got others, mostly from Canada, from some reason. I also collect stories where people fall a long ways and still live...) Cats really aren't dangerous because they don't want to attack people. But if they do they are dangerous. The the problem in D&D I think they highlight (somewhat) is the armor system. If you're unarmored, a cat actually is quite of a problem - they can scractch the heck out of you. But with heavy gloves on and a leather jacket, they can't.
