*Tandi and the others head inside the crystalline structure. The entrance is dimly illuminated by a phosphorescent glow that permeates the crystal, but the rest is totally dark. However, those who are walking near the walls notice that the crystal in the walls reacts to their proximity--glowing with a soft light, in different colours and patterns for different people--some brighter, some darker, some capricious wisps in scintillating whimsical patterns, others a simple orderly aura of light. While some of the group, like Tandi, have quiet footfalls, others wear armour that clanks and echoes loudly and ominously throughout the passageways. Anton, a master of tracking, notices dimly growing remnants of tracks leading onward--they seem reasonably fresh, and there is clearly one set from yesterday or just a few days ago. As the group follows the tracks onward through this dreamlike world of darkness that is only punctuated by the glow of light that the travelers themselves bring with them, they come across a large domed chambre near the centre of the spire. This one has mirror-like walls and clusters and patterns of crystals all around it, amplifying the light from the adventurers through the crystals and the mirrors until the room, at first covered in a shroud of darkness, is bathed in an iridescent light that combines the lights of each of them. There are bodies on the ground to the side of the room, and in the centre stands what appears to be a huge dragon made entirely out of a diamondlike crystal, covered in cracks and wounds as if it has been recovering from recent injuries and convalescing. It looks upwards at the travelers with suspicion and speaks in a language with a mixture of roaring surging power and sharp sibilant whispers.* (OOC: Does anyone here speak Draconic?)
