Message: <blockquote data-quote="Toric_Arthendain" data-source="post: 1731111" data-attributes="member: 9833">Teflon Billy decided that D20 Future wasn't for him with regards to Firefly but he never said why.  I believe someone asked him in the last message in the thread why he decided that D20 Future didn't work for him but he never came back to the thread and answered.  I'm sure he had his reasons.  To each his own, I suppose.  Here is a link to the thread:<a href="http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=97126" target="_blank">http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=97126</a>As I said, in my opinion using it as a toolkit and taking what you want/need to craft your setting should work well.  The D20 Future book is nothing but a bunch of rules to run a sci-fi D20 game.  I think it works well for Firefly when certain parts are taken and combined with elements of both D20 Modern and Sidewinder: Recoiled.  You *do* have to spend a little time tweaking things but that is the case with many D20 Modern games/settings.  I've had a lot of fun putting together my version of Firefly using Modern/Future/Sidewinder.  Watching the Firefly DVDs and researching the various fansites around the web has been enjoyable.  My players seem to be enjoying it at any rate.</blockquote>
