The The Silven Trumpeter is sponsoring its first short fiction contest! The theme of the contest is, “The answer is...” Fiction entries can be in any genre (fantasy, sci-fi, horror, modern, etc) but must somehow prominently incorporate “The answer is...” into the story. Entries should not exceed 5000 words in length and must be submitted by December 15th, 2004.
A panel of three Silven Trumpeter writers and editors will choose the top five entries. The top five entries will be released on the Silven Crossroads site for a public vote in January. The winner and top two runners up will have their stories featured in the Trumpeter and will gain a host of RPG-related prizes from Malhavoc Press and Silven Publishing!
