So how many people have played using the good old d20 version?
I'm reading through it so far and it has it's high lights and low lights. High points are that it's flexible. Low points are almost complete (in my opinion because my god if you don't say that someone will think you've laid down a universal law and state how wrong you are!) incompatibility with regular d20 stuff. (Which also, in my opinion, isn't necessarily a bad thing.)
I'm curious as to how some elements play out. I'm making some characters and notice that the damage potential with some of them is truly dire without seeming to have enough defenses.
Part of this comes from years of Champions play where stronger tougher characters usually have lower ability to hit and faster characters hit more often but with less force and get hit in return less often. I'm curious how the variable AC for instance, works in actual combat.
