The Good
As of September 6, 2003, our best-selling PDF product, the Book of Templates, has reached the 300 mark in sales. We at Silverthorne Games are very pleased by the amount of interest and support for this product and we thank everyone who has purchased it for helping make it such a great success!

The Bad
With the 300th sale, future purchasers of the original Book of Templates PDF will no longer receive the free upgrade to the forthcoming Deluxe Edition. Due to to production delays, more production delays, and yet more production delays, we will have to begin charging an upgrade fee for all those who wish to acquire the updated Deluxe Edition when it is released (late September, kids - honest!)

So, what does this mean? For purchasers of copy #301 and on, a coupon will be emailed for a discounted Deluxe Edition. For those of you who helped get us to that magical 300 mark in sales, congratulations! Your upgrade is still free!

Not longer than the end of September (crosses fingers, crosses eyes). The layout has been done and we're finally to the point of *actually* putting finishing touches to the book. So, even though the delays have been monumental to this point, I don't foresee much more wait time - which is good news for your templateers out there

As for price, we're thinking of $10.00 on RPG Now. The book is 250+ pages, after all! Not to mention the time and TLC we've put into it. As for the upgrade, most likely it will cost the difference between the original BoT and the DE (about $6.00). Still not bad, IMHO, but I'm biased. Comments? Critiques?

Just to recap, are these 3.0 or 3.5? For the templates it should only affect DR & ER, but for the sample creatures it would affect stat blocks, feats and skills.

Are there LAs for the templates?

$10 is a great price for this. One of the best deals on the internet if you ask me!
